On October 27, the Anhui Provincial Economic and Information Commission released the list of Anhui Provincial Manufacturing Innovation Centers for 2018. The "Anhui Provincial Innovation Center for Special Rubber Materials and Products Manufacturing", which was led by our company in the application process, was successfully selected into the second batch of Anhui Provincial Manufacturing Innovation Centers. Notably, this center stands as the first and only provincial-level innovation hub within the rubber products industry.
As the foremost initiative among the five key projects under "Made in China 2025", manufacturing innovation centers are cross - boundary, collaborative new - style innovation carriers established as independent legal entities. They are formed through the voluntary and autonomous collaboration of innovation and market entities, including enterprises, universities, research institutes, and upstream and downstream enterprises in the industrial chain. With leading enterprises as the main body and industrial alliances as the support, these centers primarily undertake the task of transferring and diffusing the research and development achievements of cutting - edge common key technologies to their first - time commercial application.
It is reported that in the next stage, our company will align with the criteria set by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology for upgrading provincial manufacturing innovation centers to national ones.
