Recently, the signing ceremony for the Anhui Zhongding Sealing Parts Co., Ltd. - University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) Advanced Technology Research Institute Innovation Consortium project was grandly held in Xuancheng City. After in-depth alignment and planning, both parties will jointly build the USTC ATRI - Zhongding Holdings Joint Laboratory, engaging in deep cooperation in areas such as material innovation for automotive parts and deep integration of industry, academia, and research, jointly creating a benchmark for university-enterprise collaborative innovation, and accelerating the transformation of scientific and technological achievements to empower industrial upgrading.
Xuancheng Municipal Party Secretary He Chunkuan and heads of relevant municipal departments; Zhongding Holdings Chairman Xia Yingsong, Deputy General Managers Jiang Weijian and Ke Yuchao; USTC Party Standing Committee Member and Vice President Fu Yao, and other relevant leaders attended the signing ceremony. Representatives from both sides completed the signing witnessed by the leaders.
The establishment of this innovation consortium marks a key step in the integrated "industry-academia-research-application" strategy. Both parties will focus on key technological bottlenecks in the field of automotive parts materials, conduct joint scientific research, fully promote deep industry-academia-research cooperation, drive the development of new processes and products, facilitate the efficient transformation of laboratory results into industrial applications, and better serve the needs of enterprise and regional economic development.
