Recently, the U.S.-based weekly *Rubber & Plastics News* published the 2017 ranking of the Top 50 Global Non-Tire Rubber Products Manufacturers. Following its entry into the top 20 in the previous year, Anhui Zhongding Sealing Parts Co., Ltd. advanced one position to rank 18th this year, thus gaining membership in the "Billion-Dollar Club".
In 2016, the global non-tire rubber products industry reversed its prior trajectory and demonstrated positive growth: the combined sales revenue of the 50 listed enterprises rose by 4.8%, profit metrics registered substantial increases, and investor confidence was notably strengthened. In the wake of frequent mergers, acquisitions, and restructurings in recent years, the industry has witnessed a higher degree of concentration, with the competitive advantage of leading firms further consolidated (*i.e.*, "the strong remain strong"). Meanwhile, the world’s Top 50 non-tire rubber products manufacturers have intensified their investment in China, which is emerging as a global manufacturing base and hub for non-tire rubber products.
