The "2020 China Auto Supply Chain Conference" (formerly the "China Auto Parts Industry Annual Conference and Summit Forum"), co-sponsored by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers and the Xi'an Municipal People's Government, was held in Xi'an, Shaanxi Province from October 21 to October 22. The theme of this supply chain conference is "Seizing New Opportunities, Planning a New Chapter, Opening a New Situation - Helping to Build a Safe and Controllable Automotive Industrial Chain", which discusses the development ideas of the "14th Five-Year Plan", grasps the industrial situation, analyzes the development trend of the global automotive supply chain, and helps to build a safe and controllable automotive industrial chain. Xia Yingsong, Chairman and Global CEO of Anhui Zhongding Sealing Parts Co., Ltd., was invited to attend the conference and delivered a speech at the theme forum of "Development Strategies and Prospects of Chinese Auto Parts Groups during the '14th Five-Year Plan' Period" held on the afternoon of October 21.
In his speech, he introduced the development overview of Zhongding, reviewed the development achievements made by the company during the "13th Five-Year Plan" period, and deeply analyzed the current development status of China's auto parts industry. He elaborated on some problems existing in China's auto parts industry system from four aspects: first, advanced technologies and raw materials need to be imported, the stability of domestic substitution technologies is not high, and raw materials are easy to be restricted; second, there is still a big gap between domestic technological R&D capabilities, manufacturing process levels, key equipment and foreign advanced enterprises, and production efficiency and quality need to be improved; third, lack of discourse power in the automotive industrial chain, relatively low product added value, need to make breakthroughs in key fields and form leading technical standards, gradually improve discourse power and enhance added value; fourth, the overall internationalization level of China's industry is still not high, and many auto parts enterprises are not firm in their pace of going global.
When talking about the company's "14th Five-Year Plan", he combined the future development trend of the global automotive industry and elaborated on the three major layouts of the company's "14th Five-Year Plan" development plan. First, focus on the "three electric products" in the field of new energy vehicle parts, integrate the company's advantages in sealing and fluid technology, and provide advanced core parts for motors, batteries and electronic control.
Second, during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, the company will give full play to the advantages of global R&D, focus on auto parts, and form its own advantageous products in the development of automotive lightweight, comfort, modularization and integration.
Third, the company will integrate global resources and accelerate the transformation to intelligent manufacturing. The company will make use of the interactive effect of the dual circulation strategy, accelerate the introduction of high-end manufacturing capacity through the reverse investment model, and improve the overall manufacturing level. He said that with the comprehensive popularization of Industry 4.0, during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, the company will deeply integrate the new generation of information technology with advanced production processes, and realize the application of a series of intelligent and digital platforms such as information software, high-end equipment and robots in product design, material preparation, mold manufacturing and other aspects, so as to further improve the information management level of the factory.
