On October 10, the Sino-German (Anhui) Economic and Trade Cooperation Promotion Conference was grandly held in Hannover, Germany. Representatives from local governments, business communities, and financial institutions of both China and Germany gathered to engage in in-depth exchanges on cooperation in fields such as new energy, automotive manufacturing, intelligent technology, and green innovation.
In his speech, Anhui Provincial Party Secretary and Director of the Provincial People's Congress Standing Committee Liang Yanshun stated that Anhui is innovation-active with a strong manufacturing foundation. This year, its automobile and new energy vehicle production and export volumes rank first nationally. It is becoming an important base for Sino-German automotive industry cooperation. Numerous German enterprises have deeply invested locally, sharing development opportunities and achieving mutual benefit and win-win through open cooperation.
Matthias Wunderling-Weilbier, State Secretary of the Lower Saxony Ministry of Economics, Transport and Construction, pointed out that Lower Saxony and Anhui Province have long maintained close exchanges and practical cooperation. Both sides can form complementary advantages in technological innovation, green energy, and modern agriculture, with broad cooperation space remaining in technology, environmental protection, education, and digitalization. As a representative of Sino-German business community exchange and cooperation, Zhongding Holdings Chairman and Global CEO Xia Yingsong stated in his speech that Zhongding's cooperation with Germany has deep roots. Since 2007, it has successively invested in multiple high-end enterprises in the automotive parts field such as Schmitter, KACO, WEGU, AMK, and TFH, adhering to the principle of "transforming concepts, integrating locally," and constructing a relatively complete German industrial layout. Currently, Zhongding employs over 1,700 people in Germany, with annual sales revenue in Germany nearing €700 million.
Zhongding has not only achieved remarkable results in its German investment layout but has also joined hands with German enterprises to realize the domestic reverse landing of advanced technologies, becoming a successful model of "technology sharing, bidirectional landing" for Sino-German enterprises. In 2019, to further deepen cooperation, Zhongding established the Sino-German Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Park at its headquarters in Ningguo, Anhui, which has now formed an industrial scale with an annual output value of nearly €900 million.
In the future, Zhongding will always follow the tide of Anhui's "Intelligent Manufacturing Leadership" era, continue to serve as a bridge and link for Anhui-Germany cooperation, grow and prosper together with this promising land, deeply cultivate emerging tracks like intelligent connected vehicles and robotics, specialize in core component R&D, and jointly compose a new chapter for Sino-German intelligent manufacturing.
