On September 20, the opening ceremony and keynote forum of the 2019 World Manufacturing Convention were held at the Hefei Binhu International Convention and Exhibition Center. General Manager Xia Yingsong of Zhongding Co., Ltd. attended the meeting and was invited to deliver a keynote speech at the high-end forum on high-quality manufacturing for small and medium-sized enterprises held on the afternoon of the same day.
In his speech, he introduced Zhongding's development history, achievements and future development goals, and focused on sharing Zhongding's development experience and personal insights. "Our achievements today are, in my opinion, inseparable from the word 'specialization'. High-quality manufacturing is inseparable from the craftsman spirit, and what I understand by the craftsman spirit is 'focusing on pursuing perfection'," he said. For the manufacturing industry, the craftsman spirit of focus and striving for perfection, that is, 'specialization and sophistication', is the basic requirement for enterprise development. With the continuous accumulation of quantity and experience through 'specialization and sophistication', an enterprise will form the foundation for its own characteristics and innovation, that is, 'novelty and characteristics'. The leap from 'specialization and sophistication' to 'novelty and characteristics' is a qualitative change. Zhongding's 40-year focus on the automotive rubber parts manufacturing industry stems from this craftsman spirit and feelings. However, we also found that focus alone is not enough. The industry is changing rapidly, so we must adapt to such changes. For example, the automotive industry has now entered an era of transformation. The performance of vehicles themselves is undergoing fundamental changes. Cleaner energy and more intelligent control are opening a new era. Car use is shifting from owning a vehicle in the past to meeting more personalized travel needs in the future, and gradually entering the sharing era. In addition, the organizational form of the entire industrial chain and supply chain is facing restructuring, and the relationship between users, automakers and parts suppliers is changing. Intelligent driving and shared travel will change the relationship between users and automakers, and the rise of modular manufacturing will also gradually change the relationship between automakers and parts suppliers. As a member of the industry, while maintaining the essence of 'specialization and sophistication', Zhongding has been taking the initiative to innovate and change to adapt to this trend."
He also stated that for small and medium-sized enterprises to develop, they must not only have the vision to find business opportunities in the rapidly changing market, but also the perseverance to delve deeply into their own industry. They should take quality innovation as a breakthrough point, actively promote the transformation and upgrading of the manufacturing industry, and guide enterprises to truly shift the focus of development to improving quality and efficiency.

The convention officially released the list of winners of the 2019 World Manufacturing Innovation Product Award and the Enterprise "Growth Star" Award. Zhongding Co., Ltd. won the Enterprise "Growth Star" Award. On September 21, at the Forum on Building a Manufacturing Power at the 2019 World Manufacturing Convention, the Anhui Provincial Department of Economic and Information Technology announced the evaluation results of Anhui's promotion of building a strong manufacturing province in 2018, and our company was selected into the top 50 list of manufacturing comprehensive strength in 2018.
